The Future

GP practices have recently been encouraged to work more closely with neighbouring practices in order to increase reslience of individual practices. We are now working as part of a "Primary Care Network" called Mid Devon Healthcare along with the practices in Crediton, Cheriton Bishop, Bow and Chumleigh. Working in a network brings funding for new posts across multiple practices and the funding will be increasing over the next 5 years. Our network has appointed a pharmacist who will work with our patients to ensure they are on the most appropriate medications and we are in the process of appointing social prescribers.
