Consulting your Doctor

For immediate, life-threatening emergencies call 999

Appointments

Please be aware that appointments are in general booked at 10 minute intervals, if you have several issues to discuss you may need a double appointment or if this is not possible have to book two separate appointments to allow more than one issue to be dealt with appropriately

You are registered with a named GP but all of our doctors will have access to your medical records and are happy to see you.

Patients are seen at the Surgery where they are registered unless they are asked by the GP on duty to come to a different surgery to allow them to be seen in a timely manner.

Click on the picture link above for the surgery you are registered with to see when and at which Surgery each GP works.

When a GP has asked you to return for a follow up with them, to encourage continuity of care, we advise making that appointment with the same GP. However, if you are more unwell or concerned please do not wait and see whichever GP is available.

Ante-natal and physiotherapy clinics are by appointment with our midwife and physiotherapist.

If you are unable to keep an appointment please let us know as soon as possible so that someone else can have the appointment.

Home Visits

Please telephone requests for visits before 11 am.

These are provided only for those patients who are normally housebound due to ill health and disability or those who are currently too ill to be moved.

Remember, If you have a life threatening emergency do not request a Home Visit but call 999.

When we are closed

If you have a life threatening emergency call 999.

When you need medical help or advice and you feel it is too urgent to wait until the Surgery is open you should use the NHS 111 Service.

Call 111, the calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.
